About the TACVPR
The TACVPR Board of Directors, Committee Members and Members are responsible for the advancement of educational programs and services designed to enhance the scope of knowledge for cardiopulmonary rehabilitation professionals: including, the planning and implementation of spring and fall conferences, to enhance the exchange of information between cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation programs, to provide a unified voice regarding important issues in cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation to the state legislature, commercial insurance carriers and federal government agencies, and to promote, throughout the public sector, an understanding of the nature of cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation and to increase awareness of related health care services in the state of Tennessee.
It is our purpose to reduce morbidity, mortality, and disability from cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases through education, prevention, rehabilitation, research, and aggressive disease management.
